Service Description

This course is for teens & adults who wish to learn & master the Standard American Accent for their next audition or booking. Learning an accent takes dedication & time & is not a skill you can leave last minute or fake on your resume. Throughout the term students will gain confidence in the Standard American accent as they cover key characteristics of the accent, explore the American voice & body, practice American phonetics, vowels & rhythm in scenework. This class will help break down those habits that are stopping you from nailing the accent. Honing this skill will build your accent muscle memory so you can begin to focus your energy on creating an on-screen stunning performance.
